It was FANTASTIC!!!! First time I have eaten there and the rib plate was absolutely wonderful. The meat peeled right off the bone and was as tender as anything I have ever eaten. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
A must stop when in Fort Payne if you are a BBQ lover. We either eat in the restaurant or get a to go order to take back to the RV campground at DeSoto State Park whenever we come to the park. The outside of the restaurant doesn’t look like much, but isn’t that the way it always is with good bbq?
Last week, we celebrated National Nursing Home Week and allowed the residents to help choose the events for each day. One of the days they selected was a smoking barbecue, and naturally, we chose Sally's Smoking Butt BBQ. They did not disappoint! The barbecue sliders were amazing, showcasing their commitment to providing great quality food. It's no wonder they are known for having the best barbecue in northeast Alabama. The flavors were rich and smoky, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The customer service from Angie and Sally was outstanding as always. They go above and beyond to ensure a wonderful experience, consistently providing five-star service. Their dedication to quality and customer satisfaction truly shines through. We couldn't have asked for a better barbecue experience, and we are grateful to Sally's Smoking Butt BBQ for making our event so special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for top-notch barbecue and exceptional service.
After a day of trekking all over the country side, the food was excellent! Small little place with some character. I had beef brisket, my wife had pulled pork. We did not get any of their famous banana pudding, as they were out. We did have some lemon meringue pie.
Best tender ribs I've ever had! Everything was so delicious and service was quick and very pleasant.
Super friendly and the food was fantastic - worth at least a six hour detour just to go there. The meat was better than the sides, but given that the meat was a religious experience, that's not in any way an insult. The chipotle slaw was interesting (I'm not a slaw person but it was definitely worth trying regardless).
Love this place! I ordered a brisket plate and it was the most moist brisket I've had in a long time. Good flavor. Enjoyed the chipotle coleslaw and baked beans as sides. Highly recommend!
This is a little place with big flavor. They smoke and cook their food and serve you that, fresh, daily. I got the pulled pork plate with baked beans and fried potatoes. The pork was fresh, tender, delicious, juicy, and not full of fat like other bbq places! The baked beans were good too, but the fried potatoes were fantastic - crispy, salted, flavorful, and delicious. Even the toast that comes on these plates was good. I also got iced tea, and it was fresh and delicious. I don't usually write a review for a place I've only been once, but I was incredibly impressed. I'm already planning the next time I can go back.
